Softball Recap: Keokuk Takes a Loss

Keokuk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Bettendorf Bulldogs. The game marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Keokuk's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bettendorf, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

Keokuk didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-1 loss against Iowa City West on the 7th. As for Bettendorf, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Davenport West on the 9th.
