Softball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union and Richlands squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Union had to settle for second. They lost 8-1 to the Blue Tornado. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered against the Blue Tornado since March 30, 2015.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Richlands, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richlands, they will challenge Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Tornado 3.3, the Generals 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
