Football Recap: West Fork Takes a Loss

West Fork extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a blow against Charleston, falling 45-7. West Fork was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-0.

As for Charleston, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.5 points on average over those games.

Carter Little had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 134 yards and three TDs on only nine passes. Little is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Charleston will challenge rival Mansfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Charleston 12, Mansfield 11.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
