Volleyball Recap: Fresno Christian Takes a Loss

Fresno Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Immanuel. Fresno Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Immanuel apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

While Fresno Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Immanuel work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 29-27, 25-18.

Fresno Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Immanuel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-6.

Coincidentally, Fresno Christian and Immanuel will both be playing Washington Union the next time they take the court. Fresno Christian will head out to face Washington Union at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Immanuel will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
