Manchester's game on Thursday was all tied up 6-6 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to the Platt Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Hawks of the 33-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Platt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Austen Standish, who rushed for 45 yards and one TD, and also threw for 122 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
