Soccer Recap: Lincoln Southeast Takes Down Ranked Norfolk

Lincoln Southeast faced Norfolk in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Knights never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Lincoln Southeast have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Norfolk, too.

Lincoln Southeast's one-goal win came courtesy of Brooke Lindsay, who's now up to three this season.

Lincoln Southeast's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Norfolk, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
