Football Recap: Central Square Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Central Square's offense. They were outmatched by the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans and fell 34-0. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Central Square's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East Syracuse-Minoa, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Central Square will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Henninger at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Syracuse-Minoa, they will square off against Carthage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
