Sunrise Mountain is 9-1 against Centennial since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will take on the Coyotes at 5:30 p.m. Sunrise Mountain is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Thursday, Sunrise Mountain made easy work of Canyon View and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The win didn't come easy: Canyon View scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Centennial lost 3-0 to Willow Canyon on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-13.

Sunrise Mountain pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Centennial, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.

Sunrise Mountain couldn't quite get it done against Centennial in their previous matchup on April 3rd as they fell 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
