Soccer Game Preview: Marcus vs. Hebron

The Marcus Marauders will face off against the Hebron Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marcus is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Marcus' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Lewisville. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Marcus' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Lewisville are ranked 116th).

Ethan Garza and Kaifa Yuoh scored both of Marcus' goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Hebron hasn't lost a match since January 3rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Coppell by a score of 2-0.

Hebron's win bumped their record up to 4-2-3. As for Marcus, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
