Basketball Recap: Army-Navy Takes a Loss

If Army-Navy was feeling good fresh off their 66-37 takedown of St. Joseph Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Army-Navy Warriors took a 49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-City Christian Eagles on Monday. The Warriors have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-City Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Williams, who went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points. Jeramiah Turner was another key player, putting up 12 points and five assists.

Army-Navy's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Tri-City Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Army-Navy will welcome Del Lago Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-City Christian, they will be playing at home against Maranatha Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
