Volleyball Recap: Newport Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Newport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Villa Madonna Vikings. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Newport's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Villa Madonna, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newport will square off against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Villa Madonna, they will face off against Walton-Verona at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
