             El Dorado won the last time they faced Horizon, and things went their way  on Friday too. The El Dorado Aztecs walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Horizon Scorpions. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Aztecs.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-23,  25-20.
 El Dorado found their leader in underclassman  Natalia Ruiz, who  had 33  digs and three  aces. Ruiz has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last 16 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Angelina Mcgriff, who  had 14  digs, 12  kills,  and two  aces.
 El Dorado  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 13  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Horizon only served four.
  Natalie Sapien and  Savannah Sanchez certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Sapien  had 11  digs, while  Sanchez  had 19  digs, eight  kills,  and two  aces.
 El Dorado is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-15 record  this season. As for Horizon, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record  this season.
 El Dorado will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkland  at 6:35  p.m.  on Tuesday. Parkland is coming into the  contest with four straight  losses on the road,  meaning El Dorado will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory. As for Horizon, they will venture away from home to  challenge Americas  at 6:35  p.m.  on Tuesday. Americas will roll in looking for their  14th straight  win, something Horizon surely won't give up without a fight.
