Baseball Recap: Schenck Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Schenck's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Penobscot Valley Howlers on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 7-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Schenck's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Penobscot Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Schenck will take on rival Lee Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Penobscot Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Bangor Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
