Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Beats Curwensville for Their Third Straight Win

Clearfield waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Curwensville Golden Tide as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-18.

Clearfield's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Curwensville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearfield will welcome Bald Eagle Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Eagles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Curwensville, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Williamsburg at 6:00 p.m.
