Basketball Recap: Foothill Tech Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rio Mesa, Foothill Tech was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over the Highland Bulldogs. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Dragons as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Foothill Tech's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashton Brown, who posted 20 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brody Baker, who had eight points along with seven boards and three steals.

Foothill Tech's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Highland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Foothill Tech has already played their next contest, a 66-39 victory against Cate on the 9th. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-41 win against Fillmore on the 9th.
