Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brandon). Their defense stepped up to hand the Middleton Tigers an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Daijalee Rogiers was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Brandon used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Middleton. And. Daniella Mendez made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

The victory was the third in a row for Brandon, bringing their record for this year to 5-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Middleton, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Brandon will face off against Chamberlain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Middleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
