Basketball Recap: Fort Recovery Comes Up Short

Fort Recovery lost against Versailles back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fort Recovery Indians took a 56-41 bruising from the Versailles Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 540th, while the Tigers are ranked 119th).

Fort Recovery has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Versailles, their record now sits at 15-5.

When Fort Recovery and Versailles next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Fort Recovery will challenge St. John's and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Versailles will try to stop Anna's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
