Volleyball Recap: Grygla-Gatzke's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Grygla-Gatzke lost against Lake of the Woods back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Bears. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

While Grygla-Gatzke ultimately came up short, they really made Lake of the Woods work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-18, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grygla-Gatzke fell to 2-1. As for Lake of the Woods, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Coming up, Grygla-Gatzke will face off against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake of the Woods, they will square off against Warroad at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
