Preview: Olympus Titans vs. Skyline Eagles

Olympus has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Skyline Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Olympus, who comes in off a win.

Olympus scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past East 80-44 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Olympus has posted yet this season.

Joss Baker and Keily Trabanino were among the main playmakers for Olympus as the former dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds and the latter scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Trabanino continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Chloe Bontempo was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Skyline ended up a good deal behind West on Friday and lost 67-51.

Skyline's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cami Groberg, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds, and Leelu Bare who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mia Johnson, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.

Olympus' win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Olympus came up short against Skyline in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 54-48. Thankfully for Olympus, Tina Njike (who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and six assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
