Softball Recap: Heights Falcons vs. Dodge City Demons
Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Dodge City Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Heights of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Autumn Popp, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Heights' loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Dodge City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-20 record this season.
As of now, neither Heights nor Dodge City have any future games scheduled.
