Volleyball Game Preview: Capital Cougars vs. Greenbrier East Spartans

Capital is 0-7-2 against Greenbrier East since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to square off against the Spartans at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Capital came up short against Parkersburg and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier East was able to grind out a solid win over Independence on Thursday, taking the game 2-0.

Greenbrier East easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11.

Greenbrier East has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-18-5 record this season. As for Capital, their loss dropped their record down to 13-27-4.
