Baseball Recap: Red Bank Regional Comes Up Short

Red Bank Regional has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.78 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to Ranney. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bucs were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Red Bank Regional and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Ranney, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Red Bank Regional will head out on the road to face off against Central Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bucs 3.8, the Golden Eagles 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Ranney, they will head out to challenge Middletown South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
