Football Recap: Westfield Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Westfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Eisenhower Eagles 9-6. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Westfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as JAYDEN BARNES, Davon Smith, and ISAIAS JONES picked up one apiece. JONES also made four total tackles, which is notable because Westfield is 4-1 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 2-3 otherwise. Another thorn in Eisenhower's side was Antonio Underwood, who made 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-4.

Westfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-20 defeat against Willis on the 14th. As for Eisenhower, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 45-6 loss against College Park on the 14th.
