Volleyball Recap: Winnacunnet Takes a Loss

Winnacunnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Londonderry Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Winnacunnet's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Londonderry, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winnacunnet will face off against Coe-Brown Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Londonderry, they will take on Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
