Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ephrata). They were the clear victors by a 21-11 margin over the Lebanon Cedars on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 on April 2nd.
Ephrata let Emma Zimmerman and Kaliana Auchey run wild. Zimmerman went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs, while Auchey got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Those five hits gave Zimmerman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Olivia Sensenig, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.
