Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Viewmont, Clearfield was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Woods Cross Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Clearfield walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 21-25, 25-18.

Clearfield can attribute much of their success to Nathan Toone, who had 14 digs. That's the most digs Toone has posted since back in March.

Clearfield's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Woods Cross, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clearfield is set to take on their familiar foe Northridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woods Cross will face off against rival Box Elder at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
