It was a good run, but Ludington unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Big Rapids Cardinals. The Orioles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Ludington's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Big Rapids, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.

As of now, neither Ludington nor Big Rapids have any future games scheduled.
