Baseball Recap: Rushville Falls Short of New Palestine in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rushville can now relate to. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Palestine Dragons on Wednesday.

Rushville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Reynolds, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Rushville's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for New Palestine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Rushville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Palestine, they will face off against Indian Creek at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
