Volleyball Recap: Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy lost against Dan River back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ospreys came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Ospreys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-6, 25-22.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Dan River, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dan River, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Appomattox County on the 28th.
