Basketball Recap: Saint Jo Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Saint Jo duked it out withRains on Saturday. The Saint Jo Panthers'2024 ended with a 59-41 loss against the Rains Wildcats.

Saint Jo has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Rains, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saint Jo will head out to face off against Dodd City at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Rains, they will venture away from home to challenge Commerce at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Commerce's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
