Softball Recap: Nuview Bridge Takes a Loss

Hamilton hit Nuview Bridge with a five-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights lost 11-2 to the Bobcats. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly nine runs.

Nathalia Portillo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Nuview Bridge and nudges their season record down to 10-8-1. As for Hamilton, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
