Softball Recap: Roosevelt Bears vs. Edsel Ford Thunderbirds        
        
		
            
 Roosevelt put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds with a sharp  10-4 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Roosevelt also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
  Ellie Isenegger made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Isenegger has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Isenegger was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Natalee Lesko was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Emma Jordan, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Edsel Ford, their loss was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-2.
 Roosevelt will  challenge Allen Park at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Roosevelt is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game  this season. As for Edsel Ford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trenton at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
