Despite the loss, South View still got an impressive performance from Antrell Gilmore, who scored 30 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gilmore has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Evans, who scored nine points.
David Mirikwe was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with two steals for Chapel Hill. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mirikwe has scored at least a third of Chapel Hill's points. South View's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Chapel Hill, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-6.
