Football Recap: Dalton Terry and Ahmad Anderson Pace Raymond Defense

Raymond played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 28-6 to the Forest Bearcats. The Rangers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Despite the loss, Raymond still got an impressive performance from Cj Martin, who rushed for 164 yards and one score while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Martin was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.

Raymond didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dalton Terry and Ahmad Anderson. Anderson is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Raymond's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Raymond is set to face off against their familiar foe Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Forest will square off against rival Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
