Volleyball Recap: Elkhorn Takes a Loss

Elkhorn lost against Gretna back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Antlers fell 2-0 to the Dragons.

Maggie Miller was a one-woman wrecking crew For Gretna. as she had six aces and three digs. Miller has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 17 times she's played. Lily Zimmerman was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Elkhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Gretna, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Elkhorn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Standing Bear on the 11th. As for Gretna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Elkhorn North on the 11th.
