Basketball Recap: Barringer Takes a Loss

Barringer kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Verona Hillbillies. The Blue Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hillbillies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2016.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barringer will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on American History at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Verona will take on Glen Ridge in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
