Baseball Recap: Keys Takes a Loss

Keys was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-2 to the Kellyville Ponies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ponies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Wednesday.

Keys' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Kellyville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keys will venture away from home to take on Kiefer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Kellyville, they will take on Haskell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
