On Tuesday Lance Pierce tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort marked the fewest hits Pierce has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one earned run. For the season, he has an ERA of 1.80 over 23.3 innings pitched.
