Softball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Forsyth

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fair Grove, Forsyth was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Haiden Holle was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lili Roberts, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Forsyth's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Springfield Catholic, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forsyth will challenge Strafford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield Catholic, they will square off against Early at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
