Windsor had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Surry County Cougars as they made off with a 10-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-1 back in April.

Ayden Mills made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Rylin Szymanski was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brady Cooke, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Windsor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Surry County only managed one.

Windsor's record now sits at 17-2. As for Surry County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

Coming up, Windsor is taking a road trip to take on Southern at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Surry County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
