Baseball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy managed to slip by Seaholm/Groves the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Colts lost 11-5 to the Maples on Thursday. The Colts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Maples earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Troy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Seaholm/Groves, their victory bumped their record up to 8-16.

Troy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Notre Dame Prep on the 9th. As for Seaholm/Groves, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-4 defeat against Utica Ford on the 10th.
