Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Gryphons vs. Immanuel Christian Warriors

The Trinity Christian Gryphons will take on the Immanuel Christian Warriors in a holiday battle at at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Trinity Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Saint John Paul the Great Catholic on Friday.

Meanwhile, Immanuel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Fairfax HomeSchool, falling 54-24. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Trinity Christian against Immanuel Christian when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured a 40-6 victory. Will Trinity Christian repeat their success, or does Immanuel Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
