Greenbrier East had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 73-44 win over the Nicholas County Grizzlies. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Greenbrier East, bringing their record for this year to 23-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points over those games. As for Nicholas County, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
