Adair County can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Monroe County Falcons with a sharp 12-6 win. The Indians not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 12-4).
Halynn Stargel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Adair County let Allee Campbell and Keylin Bergin run wild. Campbell got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four RBI and two runs, while Bergin went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most RBI Campbell has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Reese Bardin, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Looking ahead, Adair County will head out to square off against Cumberland County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Monroe County, they will challenge Russell County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
