Softball Recap: Tinora Gets the Win

While Tinora's victory against Antwerp wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams skirted past the Archers 3-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Archers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Zoe Billings spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, Paige Gamby was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Tinora's record now sits at 4-2. As for Antwerp, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Tinora will challenge Eastwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Antwerp, they will take on Kalida at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
