Liberty's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the WestSide Renegades. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Renegades: they've now won six in a row.
Maddie Cox made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. As for WestSide, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Van at 6:00 p.m. The Renegades are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
