Softball Recap: Hiawatha Red Hawks vs. Riley County Falcons
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jefferson West, Hiawatha was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Riley County Falcons 10-9. With that win, the Red Hawks brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Adison Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off 11 hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three doubles, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high.
