Basketball Game Preview: Putnam City West Patriots vs. Westmoore Jaguars

The Putnam City West Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Westmoore Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Putnam City West took a blow against Owasso, falling 72-44. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Rams are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Westmoore was able to grind out a solid win over Muskogee on Friday, taking the game 54-44. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Roughers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Westmoore now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Putnam City West, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Putnam City West came up short against Westmoore in their previous matchup back in January, falling 57-47. Can Putnam City West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
