Baseball Recap: Pasadena's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pasadena can now relate to. They fell just short of the St. Bonaventure Seraphs by a score of 3-1 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since April 5th.

Pasadena saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Van Zyl, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Pasadena's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-14-1. As for St. Bonaventure, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Pasadena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Bonaventure, they will challenge Montebello at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Seraphs 3.7, the Oilers 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
