Meanwhile, Queen's Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-5 to Hickory Grove Christian.

Lilly Lowry was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with four RBI and one run.

Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Queen's Grant, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 13-4.
